The US Presidential election 2008 is going to be historic, for it is fielding first time either a woman or black in the line-up. It does not matter who the Democratic presidential candidate is; one is clearly visible i.e. ideological battle between civil rights and women’s rights, what I can say civil rights vs. women rights. Initially Obama did not raise the issue of race profoundly though Clinton tried to woo the women voters by echoing her extensive experience in the male-dominated arena of politics and government. Now the campaign heats up. The battle line has been drawn and is more prominent now. Whatever that may, as an outsider I foresee both the candidates can not avoid the added responsibility being developed out of their legacy.

Why should Americans fear change? Americans are the champions of changes in thoughts, science, technology, politics, literature, art etc. The idea called America is all about change and quick adaptability. We change how the world thinks, and does things. For doing that successfully over the years, we had to be open to changes too.

America needs a change now. By doing that, it will not only change this unpopular administration, but change in the way that either a lady holds the presidency or a black. This will surely usher in some fresh air in the now stagnant and rotten American government that has not seen any lady or black holding the top executive post.

We’re not afraid of change, for change there certainly will be, neither we’re looking for someone with magnificent personality, but rather a smart person who can steer us out of the subprime mortgages, war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and can provide better social security that Bush destroyed. Obama may be a good guy and a nice orator indeed and Hillary is the lady with tolerance who stood with Bill after Monica relationship and while Bill by her side with his administrative experience, Hillary would be, for me at least, the best choice. So be with Hillary and you’ll realize the difference

US flourished under Bill Clinton, earned a great deal of money and since Bush came in, the dark era started for US . SO now US is really looking for someone who can change their fortunes. Yes, US will be in safe hands while Bill and Hillary working side by side. The other reason for this is no other member of Republican or Democratic Party is so competent and I am not voting for the wife of a great leader but for her pragmatism that she has shown tremendously during her campaign.
